Nashville, Michigan

  • This village located in the eastern part of Barry County, Michigan. Surrounded by fields and farms, Nashville offers a scenic retreat. Historically, Nashville served as the half-way stopping point between the Jackson and Grand Rapids railroad terminals, beginning in 1920. It took the trains one day to travel between Nashville and either terminal (excluding nighttime travel).

    Nashville is proud to have achieved a remarkable feat. In 2016, this small town made its mark in the Guinness Book of World Records by creating the Longest Ice Cream Sundae with much help from Mooville, the local dairy farm. While the record has since been surpassed, it remains a testament to the community's spirit and achievement.
